Branch Supervisor

Job Summary

The Branch Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily sales, operational, and customer service activities within the assigned branch or region. Ensures sales targets are achieved, branch operations run efficiently and safely, inventory and equipment are properly managed, and strong customer relationships are maintained also coordinates with the head office, supports staff performance, monitors customer feedback, manages reporting activities, and works closely with custom.

Job Description (Responsibilities)

Manage sales activities in the region:

  • Coordinate sales activities with head office

  • Develop sales skill with salesman to enhance support of staff in winning opportunity

  • Develop sales target

  • Manage and allocate of work, and monitor sales

  • Work with local industry to get new customer sales lead

  • Monitor customer feedback on service and products of the company

  • Qualify new customers and identify market opportunities

  • Introduce and promote existing new product/service to the market

  • Develop new business by prospecting and following up on leads and referrals within existing and new markets

  • Visit customers regularly


Manage operation in the region:

  • Ensure safety and no accident recorded

  • Improve repair efficiency

  • Encourage repairers

  • Build a good working environment,

  • Manage inventory and equipment of the warehouse

  • Record and check daily issue/dehire transactions

  • Controll pallet quality after repair

  • Check pallet quality from supplier

  • Place orders of timber and repair equipment on time to make sure no shortage during operation

  • Warehouse extension on time


Customer service:

  • Establish and maintain good relationship with customers

  • Monitor customer feedback on service and products of the Company

  • Pallet care training regularly to improve customers’ awareness of how to use pallet efficiently

  • Chase outstandings together with finance department

  • Join stockcount with customers

  • Coordinate with customers to get proper forecast in order to prepare PO on time especially during peak season

  • Conduct market visit to both existing and potential customers

  • Report on change and new development/activities of customers

  • Month-end Activities

  • Material monthly report to operation

  • Pipeline report to GM

  • Prepare timesheet and overtime for workers

  • Monthly join stock count with Operation

  • BER and monthly reconciliation with customers

Job Specification (Requirements)

  • A bachelor’s degree in a related field

  • At least 5 years of work experience in Sales and Operation Management within the logistics and transport industry.

  • Good communication skills

  • Good leadership and management skills

  • Problem solving skills

  • Computer Skills (Ms. Office, Internet & Email)
