Senior Executive - Field Sales

Job Summary

Field Sales to keep, develop and secure business with new and existing Sea/Air Freight, Trucking, Customs Brokerage, Warehouse customers. Monitors and penetrates the market to acquire new business. Measured against defined KPI’s leading to revenue, volume and profitable growth. Ensuring overall customer satisfaction. This role will focus on generating new revenue and sustaining existing revenue in the assigned area. The person will be responsible for all sales activities including promoting current products, as well as the development and implementation of new products.

Job Description (Responsibilities)

  • Sustain and build a strong sales pipeline with current and new customers.

  • Identification of new business potential and customers according to the defined sales strategy.

  • Manage and nurture strong customer relationships for long-term revenue – this includes proactive customer management, engagement, identification of needs, generating proposals and developing high value, innovative transportation solutions to meet customer needs.

  • Active stakeholder management and collaboration with commercial, and solution teams on RFI/RFQ/RFP, solutioning and implementation.

  • Identify new business opportunities for the company and cross-sell products.

  • Support marketing campaigns by visiting target customers.

  • Creation of yearly sales planning for own customer portfolio.

  • Accountable and ownership of sales metrics including regular reviews and preparation of sales reports.

  • Ensure agreed DSO/overdue levels are in control; work with credit control team on managing and recovering account receivables.
