Accounting Manager

Job Summary

Accounting Manager is responsible for oversee all aspects of accounting include establishing financial status by developing and implementing systems for collecting, analyzing, verifying and reporting information.

Job Description (Responsibilities)

  • Manage and overseeing the day-to-day operations of the accounting department.

  • Establish and maintain fiscal files and records to document transactions.

  • Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies and principles.

  • Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions.

  • Verify all payment documents.

  • Oversee Accounts payable/receivable.

  • Manage bookkeeping, month and year end tasks.

  • Support in coordination and completion of annual audits.

  • Manage cash flow and cash forecasting.

  • Anticipate tenant needs, assure positive and prompt response to service requests.

  • Implement and enforce customer service standards.

  • Coordinate communication between departments and cross-functions.

  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Build a culture of speed, flexibility, and frugality with all business partners.

  • Monitor the performance of all employees and provide feedback as appropriate.

  • Lead, train and develop team under supervision.

  • Other responsibilities as may be further assigned by manager.

Job Specification (Requirements)

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent certification preferred.

  • Experience in managing and overseeing the day-to-day operations of an accounting department.

  • Experience with financial reporting and analysis.

  • Strong knowledge in managing cash flow and forecasting.

  • Advanced proficiency in accounting software and financial systems.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Good collaboration with cross-functions.
